Short but
sweet, Journeyers…
Last Sunday,
I glanced up from my work to spot this rare Eastern Bluebird sitting on a
delicate branch smack dab in the middle of my view.
Twenty-eight
years in this home and I’ve never seen this species.
And the
ground! Do you see the ground?!
The sheer
sight of the grass is a definite indicator that Old Man Winter is on his way
out and Spring is on her way in.
And that work
problem I’ve been dealing with? The overcrowding with one group of my students?
I finally
got a reprieve when my supervisors reassigned sixteen of my group to another
area…finally a little breathing room…
I think we
all feel like we won the lottery.
And then,
at a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for a local softball team, I was the winner of
this fabulous basket!
I was as excited
about these twist crayons as I was about the free yogurt coupons.
Do you ever
take a step back and do something that brought you great childhood happiness?
On the home
front, I finally had the energy to take care of the loads of laundry that were spilling
over and even unpacked the remainder of my suitcase from my trip to Texas three
weeks ago… (I know…)
On the
dream work front, I completed my week’s goal of finishing The Five Facets Philosophy website components…
And then,
to top off the week, I enjoyed some fabulous girlfriend time and an afternoon
of shopping, laughing, and catching up…
We even
found a new perfume…and check out the awesome bottle!
Alien,
Journeyers…have you ever heard of it?
And you
know an even greater part of this line? They offer refills right there in the
store! They actually refill your bottles.
Now that’s
what I call a win-win-win…the retailer saves space, we protect the environment
and save a little on our wallets…
Rest, rejuvenation,
rewards, relaxation…those are the winning combinations that came together to
fill last week’s happy…
